Below you'll find some recent and ongoing projects that showcase our ability to take any project small or large, residential or commercial.
Dollar General - Oak Hill, FL
At the Dollar General Market in Oak Hill, FL along Jones Fish Camp Rd D2 started work by clearing approximately 2 acres of pines and cabbage palms. A small pond was excavated onsite as well as construction of a dry pond and swales. A storm filtration system was installed to treat the water in the onsite pond before leaving the site through a drainage canal. A fiberglass package lift station was installed with a connection to the county's force main along US1 and a small water service to feed the building. F curb and sidewalks were poured on site prior to placing crushed concrete road base in light-duty and heavy-duty sections. At the end of the project, we widened and milled Jones Fish Camp Road and paved the entire project before the final paint markings were placed.
Popeyes - Edgewater, FL
Popeyes Edgewater started by removing existing parking lot in order to increase the footprint of the site. Small clearing was needed in order to begin construction. D2 imported fill material to construct the building pad and balance the site. A small storm drain system will be installed with roof drains, a gravity sewer system with a grease interceptor, and directional drills for potable and reclaim water are needed along US1 to bring water to site. A small retaining wall will be installed, crushed concrete will be added for road base, aling concrete pavement within the drive through and light duty asphalt pavement in the remainder of the parking lot.
Elegant Manor Estates - Edgewater, FL
Elegant Manor Estates is a 54 lot subdivision in Edgewater, FL constructed for a private developer to turn over lots to Maronda Homes. D2 Paving and Sitework expanded an existing pond onsite to reduce the import fill needed to balance the site and installed storm drainage to ensure proper drainage. This project consisted of potable and reclaim water mains and services to each house for clean drinking water as well as reclaim water for yard irrigation systems. A new lift station was installed with a gravity sewer system with services installed to each home. Upon completion of utilities we poured concrete curbs and placed road base prior to placing asphalt pavement along the roadways.
Reserve at Lake Waterford - New Smyrna Beach, FL
The Reserve at Lake Waterford will be a 45 lot subdivision in beautiful New Smyrna Beach. By selectively clearing the property and only filling pads for home and driveway construction this neighborhood will be all lakefront lots with large old growth live oaks and an abundance of wildlife. After land clearing commences we will dig a large new pond onsite and install storm drainage throughout the site to ensure proper drainage is met. This project will consist of a new sanitary lift station, force main, gravity sanitary system, and potable water with the irrigation water being harvested from the ponds onsite.
Grissom Storage - Cocoa, FL
Grissom storage is a 12-acre indoor/outdoor storage facility. This is a full-scale site work project that included pond excavation and the importing of fill to balance the site, installation of potable and reclaimed water systems, storm drainage installation, a fire main with a double detector check valve, and a sanitary sewer system that required jack and bore work under Grissom Parkway. Additionally, asphalt paving was installed throughout the site and beneath the storage canopies.
Heartland Dental - Tavares, FL
The Heartland Dental project involved the development of a small dental office on an existing outparcel. Project highlights include core drilling into existing storm and sanitary manholes, constructing a lime rock road base, and laying both light-duty and heavy-duty asphalt in two lifts. Additionally, the project connected the site to the existing water main for potable water service.
Oak Breeze Plaza - Port Orange, FL
Oak Breeze Plaza is a full-scale site development project involving a 3-acre, 6-unit commercial plaza scattered with historic oak trees. Along with extensive tree protection, work involved over-excavation and import of well-draining soils, and installation of a Cultech storm chamber system with 57 stone. The project also included a fiberglass package lift station with an offsite force main, a fire main with in-building risers, HDPE storm drainage, and potable water service with a backflow preventer.
Dutch Bros Coffee Shop - Daytona Beach, FL
Dutch Bros Coffee shop is a drive-through coffee shop in Daytona Beach. Key tasks included importing fill to raise the site for building pad construction, installing HDPE storm drainage, a sanitary system with a grease interceptor, and potable water via a road drill. Additionally, the project involved constructing a concrete drive-through, ADA parking, asphalt parking lot, and roof drain system with yard drains.
IHOP - Ormond Beach, FL
Full-scale site development project of IHOP in Ormond Beach. Development included importing fill to raise the site and building a segmental block retaining wall. The project also required dewatering using well points drilled into coquina rock, installing HDPE storm drainage, and connecting to existing utility stub outs. Other tasks included painting concrete parking stalls, tapping into an existing water main for a fire hydrant, and installing a precast grease trap.
Longhorn Steakhouse - Palm Coast, FL
Longhorn Steakhouse in Palm Coast was developed on an existing outparcel. The project included construction of a crushed concrete road base, light-duty asphalt paving, and a formed and poured concrete retaining wall. Infrastructure work involved installing a fire main with a double detector check valve, connecting to existing sewer and water stub outs, and setting up a precast grease trap. Additionally, the project included a roof drain system with yard drains.
